The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visual concepts to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers, whether internal or external. The Graphic Designer will conceptualize and execute graphic designs for print and digital media, as well as illustrations, presentations, social media, promotional items, and mailing. This position requires independent brainstorming of ideas which align with the company's strategic vision and devising plans to execute these ideas.

The Graphic Designer will be part of an “A-Team” that includes Marketing, Sales, business unit leaders, and technical product specialists to create visual solutions that help solve business challenges. The Marketing Department serves as an internal agency and interacts with a wide variety of team members. You must be able to take and utilize feedback from stakeholders to develop visual solutions that help drive successful business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Follow brand guidelines to develop graphics and meet deliverable deadlines.
  • Illustrate concepts by designing layouts of art and copy, while considering arrangement, hierarchy, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects with a sense of urgency across print and digital mediums.
  • Assist with graphic needs for company business units, as well as internal and external customers.
  • Supply needed graphics for tradeshows displays and related marketing collateral.
  • Create graphics and visuals used for advertisements, proposals, presentations, and sales collateral.
  • Develop social media graphics that drive recruitment and prospect engagement.
  • Obtain approvals of design concepts by submitting layouts, then provide final art to stakeholders and vendors.
  • Build and maintain Marketing vendor relationships.
  • Assist Corporate Brand Manager with company signage and promotional needs.
  • Remain current on content, digital platforms, and trends.
  • Ability to effectively navigate within a complex organization.

Qualifications

Education

A degree in Graphic Design, Marketing or related discipline is preferred. A minimum two years of experience is required for this position. In the absence of a degree, directly-related job experience serving in a creative, marketing, or freelance role, where proven experience may offset the degree requirement. A portfolio review is required for review for this position.

  • Proven layout, design, professional printing and publishing skills
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Software
  • Ability to work independently to create Marketing collateral with minimal direction

Travel

Travel for this position is occasional; less than 10% .
