Mission:
Bone Marrow & Cancer Foundation, a not-for-profit organization established in 1992, provides
financial assistance, education and emotional support to individuals and families facing cancer as
well as a bone marrow, stem cell or cord blood transplant.
Position Summary:
The Events Manager will assist the Director of Events in all aspects of the Bone Marrow & Cancer
Foundation’s event responsibilities from database input and management, marketing materials, research and development, list and rsvp management and more.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
2. Data and Information Management
a. Assists with managing donor database and ensures that records are accurate and up-to-
date at all times
b. Maintains digital and hard-copy records
c. Prepares lists and reports as requested by CEO & President
3. May be asked to perform other organizational needs during event downtime
Minimum Qualifications:
1. B.A. degree required
2. 2 years+ event experience
3. Excellent personal, communication, writing, and computer skills
4. Team player with a “can do” attitude who is comfortable working in a small office environment
Salary and Benefits
1. Annual salary in the $55K - $65K range, commensurate with experience.
2. Benefits package offered, including self-funded 401(k) plan.
