Our Challenge:

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to work on complex technical requirements. You will be responsible for managing multiple engagements, prioritizing and resolving complex problems, and escalating as necessary, in a fast-paced environment.


The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java for UI and API testing, ensuring comprehensive coverage and accuracy.
  • Implement and optimize automation frameworks for UI and API testing, leveraging Selenium, Java, and related technologies for efficient and scalable test automation.
  • Conduct UI and API automation testing to validate the functionality, reliability, and security of web applications and APIs.
  • Integrate automated tests with cloud-based testing platforms such as BrowserStack and Sauce Labs for cross-browser and device testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements, identify test scenarios, and automate test cases for web applications and APIs.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members involved in the automation process.


Requirements:

You are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of extensive experience as a QA Automation Engineer, with a strong emphasis on Selenium, Java, UI and API automation testing, and cloud testing tools.
  • Proficiency in test automation using Selenium WebDriver and Java, including knowledge of design patterns and best practices for scalable and maintainable test automation.
  • Strong understanding of API testing, including test case design, execution, and validation of RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with cloud-based testing tools such as BrowserStack and Sauce Labs for cross-browser and device testing.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.


It would be great if you also had:

  • Knowledge of additional testing tools and frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, or other relevant testing libraries.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated test execution.
