INTERIOR DESIGN

• Create initial furniture and design plans for each project

• Take initial measurements on-site to create layouts with the team

• Create a project timeline (updated every week)

• Update the client daily on progress and status of the project

• Create an initial draft for furniture layouts

• Create a visual proposal including all furniture layouts, pieces, and finishes

• Select finishes, textiles, wall coverings, and color palettes for each room for each project

• Meet the client in person to go over the furniture proposal, furniture layout, and color palette for the project

• Revise proposal if needed as per clients' revisions or comments

• Place orders for approved pieces

• Meet periodically with outside vendors (AV, contractor, window treatment specialist) to coordinate the timeline, scope, and finishes for the project

• Check on furniture deliveries with the WH manager and staff weekly to know what has been delivered to track on purchasing list per project


MOVE-IN/ INSTALLATION

• Schedule furniture move-in with WH staff & provide itemized furniture list of what's being delivered

• Go to WH to inspect/tag all pieces being delivered to a specific project

• Oversee initial furniture delivery and installation

• Walkthrough with clients for revisions and changes when needed


SOFTWARE PROFICIENCY

• Professional drawings: Autocad, Vectorworks • Design software: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator

• Microsoft Office

• Design Manager


EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 4-6 years as an Interior designer, preferably high-end residential

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or equivalent

• Ability to work both independently and effectively in a cross-disciplinary team atmosphere

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and being an enthusiastic team player.

• Strong leadership and team-building skills.

• Strong time management skills.
