The Human Resources Business Partner role is multi-dimensional and involves aligning the organization’s Human Resources strategies with its business strategy and successfully implementing critical initiatives in support of business activities. The incumbent will work both as a hands-on generalist, strategic partner, and a trusted advisor to business constituents at all levels. Other responsibilities include:
Broad-based human resources leadership tailored to the needs of the business group; core areas of focus, in collaboration with enterprise COEs, include: support for recruiting needs; talent and performance management; training and development; onboarding; compensation; DEI; employee relations
Continued development of results-oriented, strategic Human Resources capability to work in close partnership with business groups.
Ensuring a proactive and forward-thinking approach that is viewed by clients, at all levels, to be confident, competent, strategic, consultative, and a valuable contributor to the organization’s success.
Partner with stakeholders to lead the planning, development, communication, and implementation of the talent management process.
As a trusted advisor, prioritize focus on Human Resources strategic levers that align with business results; this includes developing and interpreting key Human Resources metrics for the client group and supporting core people and talent processes (e.g., annual promotions and compensation planning, etc.).
Own and be responsible for Human Resources activities as assigned across a variety of business groups; responsibilities will vary by group.
Partner with colleagues on the development and implementation of firm-wide HR programs.
Champion the firm’s continuing commitment to diversity in its broadest sense and support plans and programs to ensure the company’s workforce at all levels reflects this commitment.
Qualifications
The individual we seek is an experienced Human Resources professional with excellent strategic insights, broad HR experience, including organization development and effectiveness, and a strong generalist skill set. The HRBP, AVP is a confident change agent with strong communication skills who is comfortable and effective and a persuasive communicator at all levels. The HRBP, AVP is personable, and collaborative and should possess the following characteristics:
Strong business skills, ability to effectively and persuasively communicate inside and outside of HR
The ability to conceptualize, advise on, and lead strategic talent management as well as demonstrated organizational effectiveness/development is a significant plus
Demonstrated ability to prioritize, and translate business initiatives into clear Human Resources strategies coupled with a process-oriented, forward-looking approach
Strong financial skills, project leadership, and analytical skills.
Solid collaboration and interpersonal skills are essential to leverage the broad capabilities of peers, business partners, and associates
Human resources experience in client-facing roles such as field-oriented generalist or HR Business Partner; international exposure a plus
Significant expertise in establishing and maintaining strong working relationships across all levels while maintaining appropriate levels of objectivity
Experience effectively communicating Human Resources strategy and rationale
Ability to create and reinforce a positive and professional working environment
A bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree is a plus
Minimum of 6 years of human resources experience gained, at least in part, at a well-respected professional services, financial services, or technology organization known for disciplined business performance and engaged, consultative human resources

Expected annual base salary range:
$110,000 - $160,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
