Requisition Summary
This position is located within the Advanced Technology Evaluation team at PTC and involves the development of connectivity features for next-generation zero-emission vehicles (ZEV), charging infrastructure, and fleet management within the framework of the Department of Energy-funded PACCAR SuperTruck 3 program.
Areas of focus include the definition and execution of the Technology Readiness Level (TRL) projects defined around the in-scope connectivity features such as battery electric vehicle (BEV) range prediction, eco-score, driving coaching, and powertrain recommendation tools.
Deliverables include requirements generation, proof-of-concept intent software development, and vehicle/infrastructure testing. Results need to be reported according to the PACCAR Technology TRL Process to key stakeholders such as internal PACCAR divisions (Kenworth, Peterbilt, PACCAR Innovation Center, DAF, and PACCAR Parts), and external research and engineering organizations that are partnered with PACCAR under the SuperTruck 3 program.
