Position Overview
The Project Manager - Fuels &Transloading ensures that the organization conducts its business process in compliance with laws and regulations, standards, and accepted business practices. This position provides oversight and support to the merchandising team to ensure completeness of project analysis, project implementation, and commercial execution.
Key Responsibilities
Review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues and provide feedback and/or training
Knowledge of regulatory compliance set in place by OSHA, DOT, PHMSA, OHS, BOE and MSHA
Aid in the development, implementation, and management of the Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures, as well as develop a well-established training and development program.
Audit policies and procedures and identify operational gaps to ensure compliance with Regulatory Compliance
Assist operations leadership on the development, implementation, and management of a robust Supervisor-in-Training program with a focus on essentials of safety leadership
Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies
Communicate written policies and procedures across the organization
Consult with legal counsel and environmental, health, and safety team regarding compliance issues
Train and report with employees on compliance topics
Prepare and revise KPI reports and procedures for senior management
Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operations challenges
Decisions are guided by policies, procedures, and business plans; receives guidance from senior manager
Provides technical guidance to employees, colleagues, and/or customers
Provide reasonable and cost-effective project and regulatory compliance estimates
Develop and maintain an appropriate level of knowledge of applicable codes and regulations
Perform a meaningful role in long-term operational planning and business process improvement by performing routine assessments and evaluations of operations and regulatory compliance to provide solutions that meet the business needs now and in the future.
Enhance the operational procedure, processes, and functional systems in the areas of information flow and management, business processes and enhanced management reporting through internal customer relationships and creating "buy-in”
Develop and maintain an appropriate level of knowledge of applicable codes and regulations

Minimum Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
5-10 years’ relevant experience required
