Overview & Responsibilities:

The Coordinator, Consumer Marketing will support the MTV Entertainment Group’s Consumer Marketing team (Comedy Central, MTV, Paramount Network) by assisting with media plan development, execution, and reporting for original series and specials.

 

Candidates should be comfortable working in a hybrid and fast-paced environment and have a general understanding and passion for marketing and the entertainment industry. Candidates also should possess excellent communication, organization, and creative problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support the Consumer Marketing team in the planning and execution of paid media campaigns across the MTV Entertainment Group
  • Responsible for requesting campaign assets across all media (TV, Digital, OOH, Audio, Connect Devices, Print, etc.), ensuring they are tagged out to spec with essential messaging and graphic elements
  • Manage delivery of assets for all media types, and responsible for monitoring and updating their status across internal planning documents
  • Create and issue traffic instructions for TV, Digital, and Audio creative, ensuring meticulous accuracy
  • Work closely with the media agency and creative teams to ensure all off-channel media assets are properly created and delivered on time
  • Assist with creating and updating campaign planning and recap documents (one-sheets, decks, flowcharts, etc.)
  • Gather and distribute materials, documents, and updates to internal teams and external agencies

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Communications or Marketing preferred)
  • 1-2 years of experience in media or marketing, preferably in TV/entertainment (strong internship experience considered)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Slides
  • Strong eye for design and experience with Adobe Photoshop or Canva

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

Hiring Salary Range: $50,000.00 - 57,200.00. 

 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
