LASO – Los Angeles Support Office is seeking an Administrative Assistant 4 to join our team of diverse individuals in Redondo Beach, Ca.
The Administrative Assistant 4 will execute administrative and business operations for customer-focused SSSD Programs. There will be minimal supervision for this role therefore, the candidate will need to be self-sufficient in seeking solutions to challenges raised and questions asked by the Customer/Contract personnel.
The ideal candidate for this role should be efficient at multi-tasking and must possess the ability to collaborate across multiple organizations and departments. This role requires being the focal point for information gathering and dissemination, records management, and daily office operations. They should be comfortable with providing support to multiple people within the department. There will be extensive interfaces with multiple internal and external organizations including Information Technology, Facilities, Security, Property, Operations, and other Administrative Assistants. The candidate selected must possess strong communication, time management, and organizational skills and be able to maintain superior attendance and punctuality.
This role requires the candidate to have active (DoD) Top Secret (TS) Clearance and Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) Access. Must have completed the Polygraph on file.
The selected Candidate will be responsibilities for, but not limited to:
Maintenance of Outlook Calendars for Senior Customers, (three systems)
Coordination of Meetings with NG and Customers
Onboarding for New Contractors/Customers
Coordinating moves, desktop computers, phones, and property. (Internal and External)
Assisting with logistics of setting up/maintaining training records for our Contractors/Customers
Assists in maintaining the organization's collaboration electronic sites, and department folders.
Provides support, researches, and obtains information from various sub-systems, security or within the department.
Host for Customer and Contractor visitors to include badging, office logistics for computers, phones, and offices.
Communicating with administrative, customer and management personnel to gather or convey relevant information.
Ordering Supplies- IBUY
Office Seating, move request coordination with NG’s associated departments.
Follows up on actions to ensure deadlines are met.
Successful experience working collaboratively as a team player with the ability to interface effectively at all levels, aid to team building.
Must have the ability to work in classified closed environment for primary responsibilities.
Ability to protect and maintain confidentiality.
Some travel may be required – 10%

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma/GED with at least 6 years experience as an administrative assistant, preferably for a large team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
Proficiency in business and travel expense systems (Concur, Edge, or similar)
Must have an active (DoD) Top Secret (TS) Clearance and Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) Access. Must have completed Polygraph on file.
