Job Description

Reporting to the Engagement Analytics Manager within the Digital Insights, Reporting, and Analytics team, this individual will provide advanced analytical support to the card digital feature team. The ideal candidate will be a motivated professional who is passionate about data and data visualization. They must have strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to understand the business goals and needs, while being committed to delivering data driven insights that lead to actionable recommendations.

This analyst will focus on the customer’s digital journey for credit and debit cards from acquisition to account servicing to card usage. The analyst will work with the card digital feature team to determine the appropriate KPIs, create the tracking for those KPIs, and provide in-depth analysis as required to understand trends, improve the customer journey, and increase feature usage. The analyst will be the Engagement team’s resident expert on using web page data and analytics tools.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as econometrics, computer science, engineering or applied mathematics, or equivalent work experience
  • Six to eight years of statistics or analytics experience
  • Experience working with digital data, web page analytics, and data visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of statistical methodologies.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • 6-8 years of experience in analytics, demonstrating a progressive increase in responsibility and scope
  • Direct experience with Adobe Analytics.
  • Strong technical skills with SAS, SQL, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Tableau.
  • Experience in financial services with specific knowledge in credit cards is a big plus.
  • Experience in identifying KPIs, developing reports and dashboards, and data visualization.
  • Impeccable attention to detail while being comfortable with data ambiguity.
  • Proven track record of driving analytics into actionable business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence change across a complex organization.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $116,280.00 - $136,800.00 - $150,480.00
