Job Summary

A great client is seeking a remote CAD operator to join their team! Reporting to the Engineering Manager the role of a CAD Operator is to transform the concept proposed in an architectural drawing, rendering, an isometric drawing or hand sketch; and make it buildable. With attention to detail, their team must determine the quickest, most cost-effective method that fits their manufacturing capacity. Candidate must be proficient in Autodesk inventor and must have food service fabrication industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage in transition meetings alongside the Project Manager and Engineering Manager to comprehensively review project particulars.
• Collaborate closely with the Estimator, Project Manager, and Engineering Manager to ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining profitability.
• Develop detailed models for each component, adhering to optimal manufacturing standards.
• Present drawings to the Engineering Manager for validation and approval.
• Incorporate modifications to the submission drawings as directed by the Engineering Manager.
• Generate laser cut sheets, bend drawings or codes, tubing cut lists, and assembly drawings for new projects, and promptly submit them to the Engineering Manager.
• Provide timely responses to manufacturing inquiries.

Requirements

• Must have Autodesk inventor experience (3 years)

• Experience level: Experienced
• Minimum 3 years of experience
