Position Description

Definition 6, a Bridgenext company, is a nimble full-service agency with 20 years of experience across multiple disciplines including marketing strategy, visual design, user experience, technology development, video concepting/filming/post production, media and digital public relations (PR), social storytelling and more. We are currently looking for an exceptional Account Director to join our Public Relations Services division. This pivotal role demands a deep understanding of our clients' brand identity and business objectives. As a strategic advisor, you will build strong, trust-based relationships with clients, collaboratively working with account service teams and strategic leads. Your expertise will be key in identifying and leveraging opportunities to achieve revenue targets, ensuring our clients and agency continue to thrive.


The ideal candidate for this Account Director role will possess a robust client base and a demonstrated success record in PR Services. Your role involves harnessing your established relationships and deep knowledge of the public relations industry to produce impactful results for our clients. You will collaborate with peers within the PR Services division on various projects including Satellite Media Tours (SMTs), Radio Media Tours (RMTs), Audio News Releases (ANRs), Public Service Announcements (PSAs), and video production. Beyond this, your role includes partnering with our Entertainment and Digital teams to develop comprehensive integrated marketing campaigns. This position offers a unique chance to broaden your clients' horizons with an expanded range of services, contributing to their success and growth in an agency that stands out for its creativity and innovation.


Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

  • Leverage established client relationships to build a new book of business and bring in projects (SMTs, RMTs, ANRs, PSAs, video production)
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with clients to drive continued partnership & creation of new work
  • Drive growth and profitability among client accounts to meet goals
  • Work with the media relations team to develop strategic insights and effectively communicate actionable recommendations that are aligned to the client’s business and communications objectives
  • Craft RFPs, proposals, and budget estimates


Workplace: Remote position in the United States with travel as needed. Hybrid opportunity for candidates in the NYC and Atlanta area.


Must-Have Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in PR services and client relations with a focus on developing and closing new business
  • Previous experience building a new book of business leveraging established client relationships that generate revenue
  • Drive to stay current with PR trends, and client management tools including individual research and attending educational events
  • Experience providing PR tactics such as SMTs, RMTs, ANRs, PSAs, and Video Production
  • Experience delivering PR, marketing, and business initiatives to clients
  • Proven ability to work with multiple brands and/or clients across diverse market verticals
