Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Senior Software Engineer in New York, NY.

Job Role and Responsibility: Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., Technology Group is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to leverage specialized knowledge of software engineering and application development to design and develop software for the Technology line of business; Gather business requirements and ensure that product features meet said requirements; Develop and implement design plans; Develop UI code using React, Javascript, CSS, and other related technologies; Leverage knowledge of Java, Oracle, JMS messaging, and Tomcat servers to architect server side features; Conduct software testing; Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the software testing process; and Collaborate with the Product Support team to deploy software into production. Telecommuting is permitted. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.

Travel required: None 

Required Qualifications: Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. The position requires 7 years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving software engineering.

Specific skills required:

•             7 years of experience with Java/J2EE, Oracle, JMS messaging and Tomcat servers

•             5 years of experience developing UI code using React, Javascript, CSS

•             Experience with REACT, Javascript, GIT, Jenkins, and Urban Code Deploy (UCD)
