The Lockheed Martin Waterton facility in Littleton, CO is seeking a Central Strategic Industrial Engineer.
Industrial Engineers operate in a fast-paced, agile, next-gen environment, and utilize the latest technology in PLM, MRP, MES, Discrete Event Simulation, Data Analytics, and Data Visualization Software to produce analysis’ & metrics which enable imperative business decisions.
This position will provide data-driven solutions that enable the production team to optimize their manufacturing schedules and costs. Shop floor interaction with production operations team enable the IE to comprehend the manufacturing processes to provide data-driven deliverables to internal customers.
This position requires collaboration with all functional groups through the entire product lifecycle within a production environment. Candidate will have the opportunity to provide valuable solutions to multiple organizations and align program priorities.

This is an experienced Industrial Engineering opportunity where you will:
• Apply advanced Industrial Engineering concepts and techniques to analyze business processes and reduce waste.
• Working with facilities engineers to support planning of new Production factories.
• Supporting Manufacturing Engineers in developing standards and analyzing shop performance against targets.
• Generating production process simulations for future production programs and performing analyses to identify resource constraints, flow, process layouts, and work schedules to achieve delivery targets.
• Interrogate data systems and look for opportunities to surface problems and drive improvements.
• Oversee process improvement efforts, ensuring implementation and sustainment while demonstrating results.
• Supporting occasional weekend or off-hour support as needed to maintain production schedule compliance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or higher education from an accredited college or equivalent experience
• Production / Industrial Engineering experience in Aeronautics or Heavy Industry
• Experience driving projects forward, especially ones of high visibility
• Experience developing, monitoring and/or reporting metrics related to cost and schedule performance specific to standard cost and fixed priced models
• Experience developing forecasts and/or Production Schedules and/or Resource Load Staffing Plans
Desired Skills:
• Experience with SAP, Apriso, VECAMS, FlexSim & Tableau
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation), particularly with Production Operations and Program Offices
• Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments
• Production Experience and/or New Production Program Experience
• Earned Value Management (EVMS) experience. Understanding of S-Curves, Schedule Performance Index (SPI) and Cost Performance Index (CPI)
• Ability to construct PowerPoint presentation material and brief to senior leadership effectively

Work Schedules:Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:9x80 every other Friday off
