Role Overview: We're looking for a Photographer & Graphic Design Specialist adept in print and web to lead impactful projects for our brand. We value proactive problem-solvers with an entrepreneurial mindset who excel in a flat organization. Strong computer proficiency and enthusiasm for diamonds, gemstones, and fine jewelry are a major plus


Key Responsibilities:


1. Photography and Videography:

  • Organize and lead photo shoots, capturing both product and lifestyle shots.
  • Enhance photo and lighting setups to achieve optimal results.
  • Photograph and edit (Photoshop) images of new jewelry and loose gemstone products.
  • Produce videos for collection drops and product demonstrations.


2. Social Media and Email Marketing:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies for AGI’s brands across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Create, curate, and schedule content, including videos and photography.
  • Conduct competitor and internal audits to stay ahead of market trends.
  • Engage with the online community and track key performance metrics to drive B2B engagement with retail store partners and prospects.
  • Design and send bi-monthly product and company update emails via Mailchimp.


3. Marketing Assets:

  • Create and update digital and physical marketing assets around brand identity, collection/product launches, packaging, banner advertisements, internal print materials, event collateral marketing, and more.


4. Website and iPad Sales Ordering Catalog Support:

  • Enhance UI/UX for user-friendly B2B shopping based on competitor analysis (wireframing, web developer coordination).
  • Update product inventory and content on websites and iPads, including data entry, naming, and copywriting using Excel.
  • Maintain digital platforms, ensuring current and appealing collection banners, product photos, landing pages, and navigation menus.


5. Collaboration and Project Management:

  • Work closely with internal sales and product development teams to develop and implement effective marketing strategies.
  • Manage and delegate tasks to overseas support teams to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Support and contribute to other ad-hoc Company projects that arise.

Qualifications

  • Portfolio showcasing self-created design work and/or photography.
  • Strong preference given for previous photography and design industry experience.
  • Proficient in applying design skills (ideation, color theory, typography, imagery, texture) to both print and web media.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing, web, and mobile technologies.
  • DSLR photography experience is a plus.


Strong computer skills, including proficiency with:

  • Social Media Tools: Later.com, Hootsuite
  • Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, InDesign
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Other Tools: Canva, Final Cut Pro, Google Apps, Dropbox
  • Nice to have: Experience with website publishing platforms (e.g., Magento, WordPress, Shopify) and/or knowledge of HTML/CSS.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of creative/marketing support experience in an office environment.
  • Interest or experience in the jewelry industry is a plus, but not required.
