Tasks
A Senior SAP PP Consultant is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the "Plan To Produce" processes within an organization. They configure and maintain the SAP Production Planning (PP) module to align with business requirements, ensuring efficient manufacturing operations. This role involves analyzing business needs, designing and implementing SAP PP solutions, and providing end-user training and support. The consultant collaborates with cross-functional teams, integrates PP with other SAP modules, and resolves complex issues. With strong expertise in production planning, process optimization, and SAP/MHP best practices, the consultant drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Conduct workshops and consult, design, and lead innovative SAP PP implementations.
- Act in a consulting role for analysis, design, conception, prototyping, realization, testing, rollout, and support.
- Design concepts to process data and overall architecture to enable digital production planning and execution.
- Define and design integration to other SAP modules (specifically SAP MM, IBP, PP-DS, QM, PM, IM, EWM, ME, DM, MII, PCo).
- Develop engaging proofs-of-concept, demos, and presentations.
- Prepare functional specifications for development work.
- Conduct functional testing to ensure accurate configuration and development.
- Assume partial project management responsibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or equivalent education
- 4 years of work experience in consulting or in the automotive industry
- Minimum 4 years of SAP PP Experience
- Minimum 3 full SAP lifecycle implementations
- Profound SAP project and Go-Live experience (SAP implementation approach)
- SAP Certifications are preferred.
- Knowledge of production planning and execution processes in discrete and process industries.
- Must possess the necessary leadership, team building, motivation, and delegation skills to efficiently coordinate the efforts of a team toward accomplishing a common goal.
- Additional experience implementing SAP PP-DS, IBP, and/or DM preferred.
- Professional appearance with strong customer focus
Percentage of required travel: up to 100%

- This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cameras, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment.
