About The Role

SaaS Academy is seeking a Head of Video Content to partner with our CEO, Johnny Page. In this role, you will shape and drive the video content strategy that enhances both Johnny’s personal brand and the SaaS Academy brand. You will be responsible for leading the creation, execution, and optimization of video content across multiple channels, with a focus on growing Johnny's following and influence.

This role includes producing high-quality video content for social media, identifying collaboration opportunities on key industry platforms, and requires a strong passion for the B2B SaaS industry. You will need a strategic mindset to ensure Johnny's message resonates authentically with his audience. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside some of the best media teams in the world through our founder Dan Martell’s media group - Martell Media. The creators you meet will challenge you, inspire you, and expand your ability to produce exceptional content.

Here are the primary responsibilities of our Head of Video Content role, including but not limited to:

Responsibilities

  • Video Strategy, Production, and Execution
    • Develop and lead the video content strategy that aligns with Johnny's personal brand and business goals. Oversee the entire production process from concept to final edit, ensuring high-quality video content across social media, podcasts, and various platforms.
    • Key Metrics for Success:

  • Content Distribution and Performance Optimization
    • Manage video distribution across YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Analyze performance metrics to continuously optimize content for maximum reach, engagement, and audience growth. Implement strategies for repurposing long-form content into short-form videos for daily social media engagement.
    • Key Metrics for Success:

  • Team Leadership and Collaborative Growth
    • Lead and manage a team of content creators, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met. Build partnerships with industry leaders and influencers to expand Johnny's reach, while also developing strategies to enhance audience engagement and brand visibility across platforms.

Experience

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in video content creation and production for social media and digital platforms.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing video content strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to articulate a vision and drive results.
  • Strong interest in B2B SaaS and brand-building, with an understanding of audience targeting and market trends.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
