What Financial Planning & Analysis contributes to Cardinal Health:

Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.

Financial Planning & Analysis provides strategic partnership and objective guidance to business units. It leads cross functional efforts to enable forward looking, actionable insights with a focus on driving strategic value that influences key business decisions. We are currently looking for an Advisor, Financial Planning and Analysis for our International Channel markets based in Dublin, Ireland.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field
  • 4+ years job related experience 
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish desirable 
  • Financial analytical skills: Excel skills required, Tableau beneficial 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (DAX/Cube Functions/Power Pivot desirable) 
  • Advanced knowledge in SAP and experience /Power BI desired 
  • Team work, including cross-department team work 

​What is expected of you and others at this level:

  • International Markets position covering all Channel Partner Markets with a span of several countries supporting Pure Channel/ Hybrid Markets as well as Countries changing GTM and leading Channel Market HQ financial process. 
  • Owns Pricing for several distributors, standardizing processes and complying with corporate and audit pricing guidelines. 
  • Full FP&A scope, supporting consolidation of budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis. 
  • Support in the annual budget processes, consolidating and incorporating business initiatives, economic trends, and operational effectiveness. Aligns total budget to business strategies and gains alignment from business partners. 
  • Collaborates with multi-functional partners and different departments, both internally and externally. 
  • Identifies possible solutions to a variety of technical problems and takes actions to resolve. 
  • Works on projects of moderate scope and complexity. 
  • Applies working knowledge in the application of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks. 
  • Prepares monthly total Channel Partners consolidation financial reporting including variance and financial statement analysis. 
  • Conducts analysis, synthesizes, and summarizes implications to business, influencing business partners using analytics and business understanding. 
  • Identifies and executes upon process improvement opportunities, ensuring strong controls are in place. 
  • Performs customer and product profitability analysis and makes investment and pricing decisions. Identifies opportunities to drive revenue growth, margin expansion and a more favorable mix (i.e., driving preferred products and services). 
  • Work with demand planners and operations on inventory planning, forecast accuracy, and intercompany transactions. 
  • Collaborates with internal and external partners across overall finance and accounting functions. 
  • Supports internal audit processes.  
  • Supports with P2P process in multiple countries. 
  • Support calculates monthly sales rebates/bonuses and route for approvals and payroll submission. 
  • Effectively liaises with accounting services provider and corporate accounting to ensure correct allocation of expenses. 
  • Identifies opportunities or areas of financial underperformance, conducts analysis, and makes recommendations. 
  • Drives efficiencies and streamline processes across overall finance functions.  
  • Support Pricing initiatives, standardizing processes, and complying with corporate and audit pricing guidelines.
