Overview

The Global Demand Center (GDC) is leading the marketing transformation of Microsoft’s largest and fastest growing commercial businesses. The Modern Work and Security Customer Program’s team is tasked with building world-class digital sales motions to win share and grow revenue, partnering across marketing, engineering, research, data science and finance. We are transforming digital selling by integrating sales motions into customers digital journey & leverage cutting-edge technology to curate customer insights & empower sellers to drive growth in the Direct business 

 

We are looking for an entrepreneurial problem solver to define and drive seller scale strategy for the Modern Work & Security Direct Customer Programs by optimizing existing and creating new seller model pilots to drive incremental impact in the Direct channel. This is a tremendous opportunity for impact by building & scaling new sales motions that will transform how we use data to sell our products to new & existing customers in this strategic growth segment.

Responsibilities

As the Senior Product Marketing Manager for Seller Scale Strategyyou will have the opportunity to shape our overall approachdemonstrate cross-functional leadership, and deliver performance insights across a large subscriber business. You will be accountable for delivering direct revenue growth through seller scale optimizations across content, promotional offers, deployment & attach modelsIf you have a customer-first mindset, enjoy solving complex problems, and drive impact through a mix of strategy, analysis, and experimentation, this could be a great opportunity to explore! 

 

Define our approach 

  • Develop seller scale strategy and orchestrate the end-to-end plan. 
  • Define our measurement methodology, objective & key results (OKRs) & investment roadmap. 
  • Create a rapid experimentation and data-driven environment to drive ongoing improvements. 
  • Research Industry & Microsoft Seller Scale Best Practices. 
  • Contribute to all-up Customer Program motion strategy development and iteration. 

 

Lead the business across functions 

  • Bring together cross-functional teams across engineering, data science, business planning, sales, finance, and more. 
  • Lead prioritization discussions to maximize near-term impact and build for the future. 
  • Be the voice, ambassador, authority, and owner of our work with senior leadership. 

 

Deliver performance insights 

  • Deliver real-time, deep performance insights across the engage & nurture pipeline & experimentation roadmap.  
  • Understand customer base & synthesize seller insights to identify experimentation opportunities  
  • Create visibility of investment opportunities and progress blockers with leadership.
