The position will be responsible primarily for accurately maintaining subrental barcodes using our proprietary inventory systems. Must also interface with the local team as well as regional subrental coordinators and inventory control personnel on priorities of tasks, with an emphasis on keeping PO receipts and vendor orders clean.

This job function is also responsible for receipts and processing of routine shipments involving FedEx, common carrier, and special arrangement such as coordinating for local pick-up and delivery. This position requires customer service skills, accuracy, computer knowledge and clear communication skills. Some administrative work for the GM is also required as needed.

Essential Functions

  • Maintain accuracy of Ecodes, barcodes, and inventory systems as relates to processing equipment subrentals and also standard asset inventory control functions
  • Assist with receiving and processing of CAPEX purchases
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Verifies and keeps records of incoming shipments
  • Compares identifying information and counts of incoming shipments to verify information against packing lists or other information sources such as emails.
  • Receives all items in REV, Fusion, and TEAM as needed each day.
  • Responsible to inform every individual/department when items are received as needed.
  • Responsible for delivering items to the departments
  • Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, notes damages, and sends to purchaser.
  • Responsible for verifying counts and barcoding new equipment.
  • Weekly Clean up any receiving discrepancies and/or problems
  • Working knowledge of technical principles regarding operation and maintenance of Inventory
  • Assist Operations and Shop staff with processing cycle counts

Required Education And Experience

  • 1-2 years administrative responsibilities
  • 1-2 years in a motion picture equipment rental enviroment
  • Computer literate
  • High School Diploma
  • MS Office Suite
  • Inventory control systems desirable
  • Entertainment industry experience preferred

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to spend up to 50% of work time standing or moving.
