Salary/Hourly Rate

$45 – $55/hr

Position Overview

This Accessories Designer role will involve designing and developing a range of stylish and functional accessories that cater to the cold weather market. The ideal Accessories Designer candidate will have a strong background in accessory design, with a particular interest in cold weather apparel.

Responsibilities Of The Accessories Designer

  • Design and develop a variety of cold weather accessories including hats, scarves, gloves, and outerwear
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and incorporate them into design concepts
  • Collaborate with product development teams to ensure designs meet quality and functionality standards
  • Create detailed sketches and technical specifications for manufacturing
  • Select appropriate materials and oversee sample development to ensure design integrity
  • Present design concepts to stakeholders and adjust designs based on feedback

Qualifications For The Accessories Designer

  • Proven experience as an Accessories Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing cold weather items
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and CAD
  • In-depth knowledge of materials and production techniques relevant to cold weather accessories
  • Strong creative vision with attention to detail and a passion for fashion design
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and manufacturers

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field is required
