Senior Financial Analyst Corporate FP&A

Your Role:

The Senior Financial Analyst supports the Corporate FPA& Senior Manager and Leadership team in delivering an annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts, and monthly/quarterly results reviews and will be a key player in quarter-end external earnings analysis in conjunction with Investor Relations. The position requires collaboration with Regional leadership and cross-functional stakeholders across the financial planning and analysis activities.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Support the Senior Manager FP&A in leading the operational rhythm for an annual operating plan by setting plan guidance for relevant matters each year to be shared with global finance & FP&A colleagues (100+ individuals)

  • Support the planning process (Plan, Forecasts, LRP) in collaboration with key business partners.

  • Prepare the Monthly/Quarterly Results Review, and periodic LBEs working closely with market leadership. Participate and lead monthly reviews of results.

  • Perform ad-hoc analysis for strategic evaluations, financial simulations, and Excel modeling to provide insightful recommendations and support for management decision-making.

  • Assist in driving improved data analytics for function leadership and business partners.

  • Drive and own financial initiatives alignment with function along with updates in the FP&A process.

  • Function as a trusted business partner, leveraging financial, and business expertise to drive financial decisions.

What You'll Bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.

  • 3+ years of relevant experience. Familiarity with company financial reporting.

  • MBA, CPA, and CMA are preferred.

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with business partners.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Knowledge of JD Edwards (JDE), Alteryx, Tableau, and Cognos BI preferred

  • Strong analytical skills, familiarity with accounting, and strong business acumen

  • Time management and influencing skills to drive initiative through complexity and change.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and lead multiple priorities.

  • Initiative, accountability, and integrity with attention to details

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $80,000 to $110,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
