Our New York office is seeking an Associate Director, Project Onboarding to work collaboratively with our nonprofit partners to onboard new engagements. You will have direct access to leaders in the field and expert training, expanding your opportunities to learn and building your network for future success. Your role will specialize in getting new projects off the ground, collaborating with clients on case messaging strategy, project sequencing, and initiative best practices. This is a client-facing role.

This role will report to the Assistant Vice President, Project Onboarding, and will interact with senior-level executives on the New York teams.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as a project manager and strategic partner to nonprofit clients in the initial phases of project activity
  • Be the central point of contact and consultative liaison between the client and the CCS team
  • Lead in the design and execution of all initial planning calls and meetings
  • Develop the foundational materials that will guide the engagement, including work plans and other operational tools
  • Partner with nonprofits in the development of preliminary case statements, including collecting key materials, gathering insights through conversations, and workshopping document drafts
  • Write and design donor-facing materials
  • Conduct high-level data analysis to review our clients’ past fundraising performance
  • Review and understand contracts, deliverables, and project timelines to help both client and internal team members support all aspects of project setup and implementation
  • Facilitate the transition of each engagement to a full-time, on-site CCS team member

  • Graphic design experience a plus
