The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
 

As an Assistant Regional Service Manager/Assistant District Manager, you will directly manage the day-to-day operations of a multi-state territory while driving excellence in customer service. At 3M (New Health Care Company) you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people in USAC. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Leading a group of employees at Service Centers in the Mid-Atlantic to New England Region.
  • Engage in the recruitment and hiring of appropriate team members who fit the company culture and contribute to the organization’s success.  Organize and structure service center operations by staffing, training, developing, evaluating, and rewarding service center personnel to ensure high levels of productivity and customer service.
  • Establishes and leads district-level communication to ensure competency and awareness of key information topics about the company, department, and location as well as updates to policies and procedures.
  • Manages service center fleet vehicle program to ensure appropriate utilization of equipment, sound vehicle safety practices, and general maintenance protocols are executed.  Ensure a fully compliant distribution network by leading with conformance, support, and enforcement of internal policies and procedures and external regulatory requirements.  Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal regulatory requirements and ensure operational compliance to those standards.
  • Determines the routing and par levels to manage 3M MSD rental asset and supplies inventories in accordance with 3M MSD’s quality management protocols to ensure availability and reliability of products while ensuring product availability across all district locations to support daily customer demands.
  • Partners with district sales leaders & corporate support teams to meet customer needs; proactively manages customer relationships, providing customer-focused solutions with custom-centric answers, ensuring consistent and reliable field service performance in line with customer expectations across the assigned territory.  Empower team to provide solutions that drive customer satisfaction and improvement in the customer experience.

Company Vehicle

This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited university
  • Five (5) years of experience managing diverse teams in multiple locations in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Current, valid Driver’s License

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Experience and use of Microsoft Office suites including Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Work location: Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but requires regular work at home location 4 days a week when not traveling)

The expected compensation range for this position is $91,279 - $111,564, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
