TITLE: Lead Feature Producer, Warzone

DIVISION: Founded in 1990 by brothers Brian and Steve Raffel, Raven Software is the developer of numerous award-winning games including Hexen, Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and most recently, a major contributor to the blockbuster Call of Duty® franchise, including Call of Duty Cold War and Call of Duty Warzone. RELATIONSHIP: This position reports to the Sr Director of Production.

JOB OVERVIEW:

As a Lead Feature Producer, you will work closely with the Feature Production team and the Creative Director group to drive daily operations that ensure we deliver a top-quality product with every launch. You must thrive in a fast-paced environment and be willing to work through feedback and process improvements. You will flex your creative problem-solving and collaboration muscles daily to navigate challenges and keep the team on track for delivery. You must understand the product and our players, and consistently work to find the balance between scope and feasibility. Above all, we are looking for a dedicated, organized, and energetic individual to work with our teams to set up and maintain a reliable system for product reviews and collaboration with our partner teams on Warzone.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Runs the daily operations of Warzone Feature development, removing roadblocks from the team and keeping them focused.

  • Works closely with the Executive Producers, Creative Directors, and Product Directors to triage new asks, prioritize what is most important for our players, and run scenarios when we need to make tradeoffs.

  • Works with Feature Production to ensure Feature Reviews run smoothly and stay on track.

  • Sets up and runs Milestone Reviews with studio stakeholders and partners, sets clear agendas, and sets expectations for follow-ups.

  • Holds the team accountable for delivering against Milestone and Feature development guidelines, enforcing our LoQs (Levels of Quality) and our RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) charts. 

  • Maintains risk reports and escalates issues and mitigation steps to team leadership.

  • Sets expectations with the Feature Production team on best practices and documentation, empowering them to build and support the processes.

  • Manages Feature Producers, working with them to create goals and development plans. Looks for opportunities to maximize growth opportunities for them.

  • Mentors other junior producers and serves as What GREAT Looks Like for clear and consistent communication, teamwork and active listening.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 6 years in the Game industry or related field.

  • Contributed to 2 or more shipped titles.

  • Proven ability to own complex, multi-studio projects in game development.

  • Proven ability to work in rapid development cycles in the game industry.

  • Demonstrated aptitude for organization, scheduling, and project management. Certified Scrum Master, Project Management Professional, or similar project management certification preferred.

  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to focus on priorities, manage change, and deliver against agreed deadlines.

  • Experience managing other Producers.

  • Passion for games; a regular player of Call of Duty is a bonus.

  • Competence in Confluence, Jira, and Sheets/Excel

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $97,200.00 - $179,900.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role’s range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
