As a Human Cyber Risk Integrated Marketing Communications Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Specifically in this role, the successful candidate will leverage their demonstrated ability to think creatively to increase awareness and adoption, as well as develop and disseminate relevant messages that support cybersecurity initiatives and drive behavioral change.

Objectives for the Human Cyber Risk Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) program include: 1) promoting and communicating brand, 2) conducting research and creating data-driven campaigns, 3) drafting content and conveying messages, and 4) creating visual concepts that inform and inspire users to behave securely.

Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Work with SMEs and collaborate with stakeholders to develop strategic IMC solutions that align with program objectives and address behavior gaps, and include modern, mixed media elements to engage users, as well as address policies, standards and regulatory requirements
  • Increase user awareness and adoption, including readership and engagement, using various IMC methods and emerging communications trends leveraging technological advancements
  • Plan, research, write, distill, edit, publish, and measure high-quality and compelling cybersecurity-related content (articles, emails, blogs, presentations, videos, podcasts, intranet pages, social media, infographics, tip sheets, posters, digital signage, newsletters, etc.)
  • Write scripts, develop storyboards and design custom animations
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date marketing and editorial calendars as single source of truth
  • Organize and coordinate global internal events for disbursed audiences, including webinars, workshops and Cybersecurity Awareness Month activities
  • Lead rebranding efforts for HCRM program to include building brand equity and increasing brand resonance
  • Establish key metrics to demonstrate ROI against KPIs; monitor and measure the effectiveness and impact of IMC initiatives, and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement
  • Design surveys, polls, questionnaires, and other evaluation methods to assess user knowledge
  • Provide project management support to include budgetary responsibilities, and manage a team of marketing, communications and graphic design professionals, plus third party partners

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university with of four (4) years of experience in integrated marketing communications in a private, public, government or military environment

OR

  • High school diploma/GED (completed and verified prior to start) with eight (8) years of experience in integrated marketing communications in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Education, Cybersecurity, or Information Technology from an accredited institution
  • Three (3) years of experience in cybersecurity awareness with attention to detail
  • Three (3) years of experience communicating on cybersecurity risk mitigation principles, theories, techniques and best practices
  • Additional certifications such as AMA Professional Certified Marketer, DMI Professional Certificate in Digital Marketing, SCMP, SMCI CMCM, SSAP, SACP, CSAP
  • Strong understanding of integrated marketing communications principles and processes, marketing strategy, market research, advertising and promotion, brand management, event marketing, campaign management, creative marketing and graphic design, inbound/outbound marketing, internal and crisis communications, public relations, and digital and print messaging
  • Analytically-minded, comfortable with data and tests new ideas to improve impact
  • Demonstrated track record of building communications and engagement programs that deliver business outcomes and inspire employees
  • Proficiency with forming complex technical messages into easy-to-understand language
  • Excellent project management, problem-solving and organizational skills with ability to lead multiple priorities simultaneously while delivering initiatives on time and on budget
  • Experience working in a large global, multicultural organization is helpful

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $160,284 - $195,903, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
