Job Description:

Basic Function

HF Sinclair in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Marketing Operations Coordinator who will maintain and support store branding activities, plans and executes distributor events and customer activities and keeps corporate image supplies, gifts and wearables fresh and relevant.

Job Duties

 (functions considered essential as defined by ADA)

  • Ensures efficient execution of new-to-brand locations ensuring achievement of annual brand volume growth targets.
  • Serves as internal liaison for brand and imaging contractors and vendors, communicating internally to the sales and brand team on project status.
  • Executes the Brand Excellence program (secret shopper) for branded locations, working closely with vendor and sales team to maintain high brand standards and consumer experience.
  • Ensures the internal warehouse has relevant branded supplies, gifts and apparel for customers and employees to purchase.
  • Administers the fiberglass Dino program (ordering, trademark verification, invoicing as needed, shipping and installation).

 

Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion.

Experience

A minimum of 3 years of experience is required.

Education Level

A minimum Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 7 years’ equivalent work experience required.

 

PREFERRED EDUCATIONAL LEVEL:

PMP certified or 5 – 10 years experience in leading projects

Required Skills

Ability to perform a variety of high-level assignments for the marketing department. Working knowledge of Microsoft products, and the ability to multi-task, are required. Ability to handle situations involving conflicts arising out of products being off-specification, short/long term refinery/logistical problems causing product outages and/or customer complaints, and human error causing product outages, etc. Strong organizational, leadership, and forward-thinking skills; ability to communicate effectively with others, both written and verbal communication, and across multiple department lines and manage third-party locations. Advanced reading and writing skills, with the ability to perform complex mathematical calculations.

Work Conditions

Office-based with up to 15-20% travel by land and air required. Subject to all weather and varying road conditions.

Physical Requirements

Job conditions require sitting, talking or hearing, lifting and/or carrying up to 20 lbs, pushing and/or pulling up to 20 lbs, and perceiving color differences. Job conditions may require standing, walking, making visual inspections, making precise hand and finger movements, reaching or grasping.
