Job Description:

About Us

Resilience is the next-generation cyber risk company that’s on a mission to help make the world cyber resilient.

Founded in 2016 by experts from across the highest tiers of the US military and intelligence communities, augmented by prominent leaders and innovators from the insurance and technology industries, the privately-held firm is rewriting the rules of how cyber risk is assessed and managed for middle to large market enterprises. Rooted in decades of experience, Resilience helps financial, risk, and information security leaders continuously improve their organizations' cyber resilience by connecting cyber insurance coverage with advanced cybersecurity visibility and a shared plan to reinforce actionable cyber hygiene.

Resilience is proud to be backed by leading technology investment firms including General Catalyst, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Intact Ventures, Founders Fund, CRV, and Shield Capital. With headquarters in San Francisco, Resilience’s team is globally dispersed, with offices in New York, Chicago, Baltimore, Toronto, and London. Resilience offers insurance coverage through its licensed and appointed insurance agency and security services through its expert security team.

We are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join us in challenging big insurance companies and corporate cybersecurity enterprises - someone who balances strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You'll craft epic narratives, powerful product packaging, and impactful seller enablement materials that showcase the advantage of our innovative solution in a way that resonates with different stakeholders, from risk managers to CISOs to brokers - turning skeptical enterprises and brokers into cyber resilience champions. Data is your weapon: you're comfortable going through customer and product data to supercharge your insights and findings. Writing is your passion: you love the challenge of beating the goliaths in the industry who use similar language but don't actually have the same level of innovation. Execution is your bias: you get things done and move things forward. This is no cookie-cutter marketing gig; it's a chance to shape the future of an entire industry. And you have the whole company with like-minded teams from underwriters, security professionals, and product management working with you.

Responsibilities:

  • Written and verbal communication via marketing materials (e.g. case studies, seller enablement materials, battle cards) and customer-facing content.
  • Engage in cross-company, client, and broker discussions to glean insights that inform marketing claims, content creation, messaging, and positioning.
  • Go deep to become the go-to expert for why anyone should choose Resilience’s technology, data science, and solutions by understanding the customer, category, culture, and company. Advocate for existing and prospective users and buyers to win against the competition.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product managers, underwriting, sales, customer success, and marketing.
  • Craft compelling narratives that communicate the value proposition of our solutions to diverse audiences such as risk managers, CISOs, and brokers.
  • Think creatively about new ways to engage customers to upsell/cross-sell and drive adoption.
  • Leverage data and insights for a data-driven approach in marketing strategies.
  • Manage complex projects with a focus on timely delivery.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in product marketing.
  • Experience in working with sales teams in B2B.
  • Experience in cybersecurity, cyber risk or financial services required.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects and delivering them on time.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with previous experience crafting and narrating engaging stories.
  • Data-oriented; with the ability to leverage data and insights.
