Job Description

Do you want to work on thumb-stopping social media content, original campaign creative, and even the occasional broadcast commercial? Do you like the idea of working with celebrity athletes from the NFL, FIFA, Olympics and Formula 1? AND would you like to do all that for one of the world’s most recognizable brands and our fortune 500 clients? If yes, then introductions are in order.

We are Ad Hock. Visa's internal creative agency. Just as Visa founder Dee Hock revolutionized the way we pay, Ad Hock is taking a new approach to the internal creative team by developing a fully functional advertising agency in-house. We create high-visibility content to support every layer of the funnel starting with brand awareness. Approximately 50% of our efforts support Visa’s core brand and sponsorships. The other 50% of our work is dedicated to supporting Visa’s partners and clients as an external creative agency. It’s the perfect mix of client-side and agency life!

Our agency is rapidly expanding, and we’re looking for a creative copywriter to condense complex payments offerings to snackable copy, campaigns, commercials and more. Then you get to write the deck to help sell the idea.

The ideal candidate can come up with concepts ranging from outrageous to grounded. You can switch between short and sweet social copy, to strategic writing to sell a pitch. You’ve got strong writing skills, a passion for creating beautiful work, and a desire to continue improving. You’ll be joining an expanding team of creatives to produce content for digital, social, OOH, email, landing page, videos, commercials and even the occasional print ad.

This role sits on the creative team and reports to a Creative Director.

This is an opportunity to join the Go-to-Market team within Visa’s North America Marketing organization. You’ll be working with the best and brightest marketing, brand, and advertising teams the industry has to offer. Come join us!

  • Write engaging and original copy for various marketing channels and audiences, such as social media, commercial / video scripts, web, email, digital advertising, and creative pitch decks

  • Proofread and edit your own and others' copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines
  • Stay updated on the latest trends, best practices, and innovations in copywriting, digital marketing, and the industries you work with
