Job Description:

We are looking for an Assistant Account Manager to join the Policy Service team who enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment while demonstrating enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and strong communication and problem-solving skills. Day-to-day responsibilities include building relationships with agency partners and carriers by delivering exceptional customer service, providing relationship value, answering billing questions, processing endorsements/changes to existing insurance policies, and working with our carriers and retail agents to renew the workers’ compensation program.

Your Impact:

• Process all documents including updating the agency management system with timely delivery to retail agents with appropriate documentation
• Respond to retail agents' requests for information, documents, and general insurance inquiries
• Respond to underwriters' questions in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain client files accurately and consistently; responsible for proper documentation of files and proper communication to all in accordance with company workflows, procedures, and best practices
• Maintain renewal expirations, avoid any lapse in coverage
• Prepare proposals and summaries of insurance, as needed

Successful Candidate Will Have:

• 1-2 years of Property & Casualty insurance experience preferred, but not required
• College degree preferred, but not required
• Must hold state Property & Casualty insurance license or be willing to obtain one within an agreed-upon timeframe
• Expected to further industry knowledge through courses with the intent to pursue an industry designation
• Maintain a cordial and effective relationship with clients, co-workers, carriers, vendors, and other business contacts.
• Ability to work in a team environment
