About The Job

We are looking for a Content Creator to with us to create beautiful social content for a fashion client working to build their presence on social media. This role is not public facing on platform, but work behind the scenes to bring our already established strategy to life.


This person will directly report to one of our Creative Directors and work alongside passionate creative and strategy teams. This is a unique and competitive opportunity that combines the skills of hands-on content creation and strategy-based conceptual thinking/ ideation through the lens of all things social media and digital content. Candidates are expected to have agency (or brand) experience in concepting, pitching, shooting, and producing social-first, short-form video content for advertising campaigns.

Thinking: Candidates must have first-hand experience in ideating for both organic and paid social concepts. Experience should include bringing a concept to life from ideation phase to completion as part of a holistic and culturally relevant brand story. Experience also must include collaborating with Strategy counterparts to build on-brief creative and pitch proactive opportunities based on intimate knowledge of the brand.

Making: In addition to the type of thinking required for this role, candidates must also have experience in bringing the work to life through their own content capturing, editing, designing, and writing knowledge. Candidates should have a knowledge of photography, videography, editing tools, design principles, and Adobe Suite.


What you’ll create: Candidates should have a passion and desire to ideate and make social-first content. Types of content include: social posts with photography, event coverage with quick turn around, live event IG stories, social video (both planned and real time reactive), copywriting on social posts, static graphics, light animation, short form video and audio editing, and overall social consulting. While this role will be responsible for crafting the brand's presence on platforms like TikTok, it does not require your face or likeness to be public facing.


This team is based in the New York office and works in a hybrid fashion with in-office work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. We are looking for candidates who can join us in NYC as you will be traveling around the city too!


Responsibilities

  • Concept and produce short form social content that includes short form social, graphic assets, etc, alongside our content and creative teams
  • Apply strategic insights to develop content ideas that are on brand.
  • Share trends and insights with our team
  • Organize and execute short form video shoots in and outside of New York City, while being the point of contact for clients on site.
  • Organize and execute short form video shoots at client offices, retail locations and in the city.
  • Represent the team as a trusted client partner and use the unique opportunity to work together on site to further build client relationships.
  • Write post-copy and captions.
  • Build and design client-facing decks to present the work.
  • Share trends and insights with our team.
  • Attend meetings with internal teams for status check ins, concept meetings, and client reviews


Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience creating content for brands across various social media platforms, ideally in a creative agency environment
  • Experience or interest in fashion, beauty, lifestyle social content creation
  • Avid user of social media with an understanding of the landscape, trends, formats and evolving nature of platforms
  • Experience in shooting and editing TikTok and Instagram content
  • Comfortable with design and video editing in both traditional and app-based editing tools
  • Experienced in creating content with the help of Photoshop and Aftereffects
  • Confident writer with the ability to assume a brand’s voice
  • Ready to get creative and crappy to secure the best possible shot on a live shoot
  • Eager to explore innovative ideas and solutions in content development
  • Ability to craft internal / external presentations and present in an engaging way
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and be resourceful, flexible and quick to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

  • NYC-based and able to work on site as needed


The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000. Salary is determined based on a wide range of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, job duties, and geographic location.
