About The Cities & Lifestyle Team

The Lifestyle team within the Cities practice works on some of the most forward-looking projects in New York City and around the country. Our clients, including Singapore Airlines, Bermuda Tourism Authority, Los Angeles Tourism, several Marriott International brands, The Beekman, a Thompson Hotel, RVshare, SUMMIT One Vanderbilt, Lincoln Center, CityPickle, New York Wine & Food Festival, Industry City and more, trust us with critical strategic communications plans for shaping brands, opening new hotels, restaurants, attractions and driving consumers to destinations. ABOUT THIS ROLE

BerlinRosen is seeking an Account Coordinator to join the Lifestyle team.

This position provides a unique opportunity to begin building a career with a talented and motivated team working with clients that are shaping the future of travel, lifestyle, retail, hospitality and culinary destinations. You will support a variety of strategic communications plans by owning media relations, project management and writing tasks. This role is ideal for candidates with internship or other relevant experience in strategic communications, journalism, hospitality, experiential events and culinary destinations. Excellent writing and organizational skills are a must.

Role location: This role is based in our New York, N.Y. office on a hybrid basis. The Cities & Lifestyle team is in-office 2-3 days per week.

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

As an Account Coordinator on the Cities & Lifestyle team, you will…

  • Implement strategy and campaign planning for multiple high-profile accounts
  • Pitch and place media stories across local, regional and national outlets
  • Write and edit persuasive external and internal documents such as client emails, press releases, fact sheets, talking points, media pitches and communications plans
  • Oversee day-to-day communications with clients, including staffing weekly calls, developing meeting agendas, press coverage and event recaps and participating in events
  • Support teams at client media events

Essential skills:

  • Internship or other relevant experience in strategic communications
  • Interest in PR around the lifestyle and hospitality industries
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments at once, work quickly and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

WORKING AT BERLINROSEN

Compensation philosophy: BerlinRosen offers competitive industry rate salary bands with the goal of retaining and growing talented individuals. We regularly review and adjust our compensation structure as needed to ensure equity across teams and levels.

The salary for this role is $62,400.
