The Opportunity

This position works onsite out of our Princeton, NJ location and is in the Abbott Point of Care Division and will be an integral part of the US Marketing team. They will manage two major strategic marketing initiatives, the US HCP speaker bureau, as well as the related HCP events and other promotional engagements for sales that will help drive the US commercial strategy. Additionally, they will lead the planning and execution of marketing operations and marketing communications activities across the US commercial business. The Marketing Coordinator will report to the Marketing Manager, US Marketing and up to 10% domestic travel may be required.

What You’ll Work On

  • Manage all US HCP contracting needs (e.g. MSA, SOWs) through Contract Hub, including contracts needed for speaking events, consulting engagements, and company meetings
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure to support the US speakers bureau (internal and external speakers) and HCP programs; manage all interactions with any contracted third party, ensuring adherence to all OEC requirements and managing all required healthcare compliance documentation
  • Coordinate logistical efforts for HCP meetings & conventions, including US trade shows and professional congresses
  • Support the creation of commercial communications to internal stakeholders
  • Ensure Abbott branding is utilized consistently and appropriately in interactions with customers across multiple channels
  • Liaise with appropriate team members and internal groups, including Global Strategic Marketing, Meetings & Conventions, and Digital marketing, to ensure that projects are kept on schedule and that project statuses are updated and communicated to project team members regularly

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4 years of work experience is required, including coordinating and executing project activities
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years in the healthcare industry (medical devices and/or diagnostics preferred)
  • 2-3 years in commercial roles (marketing, sales, customer service, or account management)
  • The U.S. Health Systems and Hospital experience is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and resourcefulness
  • Project management experience, especially involving interactions with US HCPs
