UX Designer

A top-tier Silicon Valley Fortune 50 company is seeking a talented UX Designer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a cutting-edge product aimed at assisting salespeople in determining the best device and specifications to meet customer needs.

As part of the Channel Store Operations group, you will contribute to the development of a sales application designed for a popular tablet device. This tool will help sales teams articulate product differences and specifications to potential customers on the sales floor.

The ideal candidate will also travel to stores to interview salespeople and customers, gather requirements, and research the best features and approaches for the product.

We are looking for a candidate with proven iOS UX Design experience.

Role Breakdown:

• UX Research: 10-20%
• Design: 80-90%
• Level: Junior

Top Skills Required:

• Minimum of 2 years of UX Design experience with iOS applications
• A broad range of UX skills, including interaction design, visual design, branding, and UX research
• Deep understanding of user flow for each module
• Strong grasp of user personas and user journeys
• Experience building low to high-fidelity wireframes
• Proficiency in Sketch (Figma experience acceptable, but must work in Sketch)
• Experience designing customer-focused products
• Ability to create presentations with Keynote and present design concepts to executive leadership
• Proficiency in designing for Web and Responsive Web
• Extremely detail-oriented (down to the pixel)

Plus Skills:

• Experience building applications geared toward salespeople

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, HCI, Media Arts, Graphic Design, Psychology, or a related field

Portfolio Requirements:

• End-to-end design examples
• Real-world experience (not college or passion projects)
• Must include designs for a popular tablet device operating system
• Concepts, cross-functional teamwork, problem statements, solutions, sketches, wireframes, responsive design examples, and final designs
