Job Description:

The Account Director will be the primary and strategic point of contact for key pharmaceutical clients, helping to maintain and grow strong client relationships. The Account Director will lead our internal teams and clients on strategic and tactical planning as well as design and execution of those plans. The successful candidate should have a proven track record of quickly understanding and identifying client challenges and recommending appropriate solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Lead team in concept and execution of all marketing activities for key pharma accounts
  • Ensure timely delivery of high quality services within budget
  • Serve as primary client contact for assigned accounts, including day-to-day account management and issues resolution
  • Provide top-level customer service
  • Ensure brand strategy is at the forefront of all project discussions and work
  • Ensure all assets fit within client, brand and pharma guidelines
  • Develop project briefs and clearly communicate briefs to client and internal teams
  • Mentor and manage key agency team members
  • Develop and oversee all financial aspects of client relationship (SOWs, invoices, forecasting, reconciliation)
  • Lead key status meetings, kickoffs, creative presentations, and new business presentations
  • Lead strategic and tactical planning initiatives for assigned clients
  • Actively seek new business opportunities within current clients


Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience leading pharma clients, with a strong focus on account service and strategic pharmaceutical marketing
  • Experience managing multiple clients in parallel
  • Strong verbal and written communication, conflict resolution, and people management skills
  • Strong analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills
  • High level of attention to detail, accountability, and integrity
