Schedule: Remote role will require travel 1-2 times a quarter to Westlake, TX in addition to 50-75% travel to tradeshows and events.

Compensation: $85-95k

Position Summary: 

Core-Mark is seeking a bright and energetic Marketing Tradeshow and Events Manager responsible for assisting with the development and delivery/execution of Regional Tradeshows, large-scale customer events, and support of industry tradeshows, as well as other events-related projects while ensuring the consistency of the Core-Mark brand and message through all aspects of tradeshows and events.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all event logistics for regional corporate tradeshows and large-scale corporate events while overseeing support for industry tradeshows
  • Create and maintain a project plan, budget, and timeline for each event, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Assist in the development of strategies, goals, budgets, benchmarking, and surveying for all industry and regional corporate tradeshows
  • Reviewing results of initiatives and recommending innovation and improvements to evolve the tradeshow experience
  • Work across the enterprise with diverse corporate sales and management to ensure goals, budgets,s and strategies are met
  • Assist and execute all event deliverables and plans (including hotel and tradeshow registration, creation/ management of all event invitations, securing tradeshow requirements, catering, A/V, promotional items, etc.)
  • Assist in coordinating all facets of Core-Mark’s participation in the NACS trade show, including booth reservation, payment, participant registration, hotel registration, managing show services, logistical coordination with exhibit partners on booth properties, and onsite support
  • Assist and manage all show-related vendor relationships
  • Monitor, track, and assist with marketing team tasks as needed
  • Travel to all necessary events/shows/site visits

  • 5 years experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills in Excel and Microsoft Office suite
  • Travel 50-75% 
  • Ability and willingness to work extended workdays and possible weekends
  • CMP certification preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree
