Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the development and delivery of critical Flight Operations communication requirements. The development includes crafting engaging and creative content, and measuring, tracking, and optimizing performance. Works with relevant stakeholders to work on best practices and tailor content accordingly. Responsible for maintaining communication platforms and supporting department projects, tasking, and milestones.

  • Support regular Flight Ops communications (Flight Ops Update, Pilot Bulletins, CCS Messages, Ops Alerts)
  • Support ad hoc communication requests (process improvements, surveys, data validation, information gathering)
  • Special event planning (Media and PR events, Town Halls)
  • Support FO Staff Representatives, Communications Manager, and System Flight Manager as required with administrative tasks

Required        

  • Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
  • 2 years of aviation industry experience
  • Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Operational knowledge
  • Presentation skills (preparation and presenting)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well with all levels of staff, from vice presidents to pilots.
  • Strong ability to learn industry jargon and master complex technical concepts.
  • Strong project management skills, including good time management, adherence to deadlines and the ability to prioritize effectively.

Preferred

  • Master's Degree
  • Degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Aviation, or similar.
  • Corporate writing experience
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced work environment
  • Exemplary skills creating PowerPoint presentations
