Job Description:
At Nuna Taiwan, we are seeking for an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join our International Brand Business Team. We are a leading global brand dedicated to creating smart, helpful, and bold baby gear since 2007.
The principal objective of the Business Intelligence Analyst is to provide sales reporting and business data analysis to the Brand President, Brand Sales department, and the subsidiaries and to also to maintain a steady cooperation with the MIS/IT and Finance departments.
Additionally, this position is actively monitoring subsidiaries and their warehouses to ensure an efficient supply chain.
What you'll do
- Develop front-end financial reports and shipment planning tools using SAP ERP, SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence (WEBI), Microsoft Excel, and PowerBI.
- Conduct independent process analysis in collaboration with the Sales Team and subsidiaries to conceptualize new tools and reports.
- Regularly and independently collaborate with the IT Team to enhance and fine-tune the reporting infrastructure.
- Collect input from various departments and subsidiaries to prepare reports.
- Prepare meetings for the Brand President and present departmental results.
- Create budgets for financial planning.
- Perform cost analysis to optimize resource allocation.
- Analyze sales data from distributors and subsidiaries.
- Calculate and maintain pricing data within the SAP system.
- Reconcile data with the Finance Department to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate subsidiary data with subsidiaries and the Finance Department.
- Actively monitor, project, and manage stock levels and estimated margins in selected subsidiary warehouses and distribution centers.
- Provide support for special projects within the department, including data analysis and other specialized tasks.
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years of experience in the controlling/accounting/finance/SCM department of a multi-national company and/or a (Big 4) auditing/consulting firm.
- B.A or M.A degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or an IT- or data-related field.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in VBA, Power BI and SAP BO BI (WebIntelligence) is advantageous.
- General understanding of database technology.
- Experienced with SAP products is desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong command of English.
- Mandarin and any other language spoken by the subsidiaries is a plus (e.g. German or French).
- Data-driven and quantitative mindset, emphasizing an analytical approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work collaboratively with different departments and subsidiaries.
- A detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated work style, showcasing excellent time management and decision-making abilities.
- The ability to keep other people accountable for their deadlines and deliverables.
- Organizational skills and a sharp attention to detail.
- Ability to mediate between teams of different cultural (e.g. Taiwan and subsidiaries) and professional (e.g. IT and finance) backgrounds.
- A data-driven and quantitative mindset. Demonstrated ability to focus on key issues, research, gather and integrate information from a variety of sources, and consider/recommend reasonable alternatives.
