Job Description:

The Events Manager based in our New York office is strategically key in developing and executing hosted and sponsored event programs that align with our business objectives and enhance our brand presence and awareness within the Alternatives industry in the US region.

Reporting to the Head of Events, the Events Manager will work as part of a busy global events team, taking responsibility for supporting our US-hosted and sponsored events program. As a driven and results-oriented Events professional, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment where you will build strategic event programs and create impactful brand engagement experiences.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop a comprehensive event strategy aligned with business and marketing goals for the US region.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of potential sponsorships and conferences, evaluating value propositions and negotiating terms of contract to maximize sponsored events ROI.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key conference organizers and partners in the US.
  • Develop and manage event budgets ensuring efficient allocation of resources and a focus on cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and execute targeted marketing and promotional campaigns, including social media campaigns, to support event participation and improve brand visibility at key industry conferences.
  • Negotiate and secure sponsorship agreements that deliver measurable results and manage all aspects of sponsorship contracts to maximize ROI and brand visibility.

What you’ll bring to us:

  • Events marketing experience, ideally within the financial or professional services industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful events and sponsorship programs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
