What you need to know:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Cybersecurity Operational Manager to join us in a dual global role that provides both operational management of information security-related events and expert-level consultative eDiscovery case management within AIG’s Information Security Office.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Takes an expert role in the management and non-technical coordination of internal and third-party information security events, including the facilitation of logistics, third-party relationship management, communications, escalation, and scheduling of cyber security response operations.
  • Contributes to the development, collection, and publication of Information Security and eDiscovery group metrics that illustrate key operational performance indicators as well as additional areas of opportunity.
  • Engage with cross-functional technical groups as required and identify process improvement opportunities to maximize operational efficiencies.
  • Takes a consultative and proactive approach in the daily management of a data collection request matrix and provides customer base with strategic recommendations for eDiscovery best practices from project scoping through collection, processing, and delivery of data.
  • Managing case status, along with communications and escalations, while supporting geographically diverse groups of internal and external engagement teams, and cross-functional technical teams.
  • Initiates data privacy approval process for data collections assesses data security requirements for third-party deliveries and provides recommendations for compliance.
  • Train the internal customer base on the internal document review platform and assist with maintaining training manuals.

What we're looking for:

  • Six or more years of experience in a project management or operational role related to Information Security.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team whilst managing tight deadlines.
  • Ability to confront unexpected problems and communicate viable options concisely.
  • Self-starter with a sense of urgency who takes ownership and responsibility for service delivery.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Excellent analytical ability, sharp attention to detail, creative problem-solving, and consultative skills.
  • Project management qualification.
  • Broad knowledge of the EDRM and experience with practical application - desirable.
