Key Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate recording and processing of expense items
  • Payment processing for local and foreign suppliers
  • Monitoring of cash flow
  • Perform month-end closing to meet deadlines including reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and preparation of audit schedules
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of regional office/entity accounting by liaising with local accounting and tax partners
  • Provide local accounting with monthly Oracle transaction details and supporting documents
  • Verify the reconciliation of Oracle to the local set of books prepared by the outsource firm are in order and explain variances
  • Prepare monthly GST/ VAT returns for submission in a timely manner
  • Manage queries from internal and external customers, liaise with banks, auditors, tax and accounting consultants
  • Perform special assignments and projects as required and any ad-hoc duties as and when required

Key Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Accountancy or ACCA qualifications, Chartered Accountant will be a plus
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience
  • Meticulous and able to multi-task
  • Knowledge of Oracle preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.  At ease working in a multicultural environment and able to interact effectively with individuals at all levels in the organization
  • Able to work independently under minimum supervision and able to prioritize effectively.
