ConocoPhillips’ Australian headquarters are located in Brisbane. Our focus is supplying Australian customers with natural gas and international customers with liquefied natural gas. We do this through our 47.5 percent interest in the Australia Pacific LNG joint venture, one of the largest producers of natural gas in eastern Australia. ConocoPhillips Australia also operates the Australia Pacific LNG liquefied natural gas facility near Gladstone. We are also an exploration company, with ongoing exploration occurring in the Bowen and Surat Basin in Central Queensland and new exploration in the Otway Basin along the southern coast of Australia to identify natural gas reserves for supply to Australian customers.

Reporting to the Information Management Supervisor, the Information Management Analyst will be a subject matter expert in records and information management, specifically as it relates to the creation, maintenance, security, retention and disposal of records, and document metadata. Also involved in research and analysis in developing, implementing, and monitoring information management policies, procedures, and practices; designing materials and training to support project initiatives; liaising with staff, management and industry experts to ensure the integration of information management and protection best practices.

The Information Management Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Support the ABU Records Management Program activities.
  • Support Information Management and Facility data activities.
  • Support the Corporate and BU Document Control and Records Management policies.
  • Support development and management of reporting and KPI dashboards.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day processing of and improving the automation of both Records Management (RM) and Information Management (IM) processes.
  • Providing local support for Document Control Activities.
  • Processing Document and Engineering MOC requests.
  • Supporting the management and close out of the IM Support requests.
  • Management of data quality improvement projects and other small projects related to information management.
  • Updating, and developing reports and dashboards using Power BI and Spotfire.
  • Supporting the development of KOFAX scanning of records to capture document metadata.

About you

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in document control and sound knowledge of automated document management systems.
  • Desktop software competent - MS Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat reader/writer, MFD/KOFAX - document scanning.
  • Ability to run small projects, take the lead in innovation and improvement opportunities.
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to work in a diverse environment, cross-functionally and with other teams.
  • Sound EDMS (SharePoint, O365) knowledge.
  • Ability to create and maintain Power BI and Spotfire reports and dashboards.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and well-developed team-working skills.
  • Effective Management of change skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of records management compliance.
