  • Under limited supervision, leads development and execution of product/portfolio strategies and plans, taking into account product life cycle stage and the customer experience.
  • Leads development and implementation of marketing, sales and all other activities, as needed, to achieve the necessary business outcomes.  Independently lead needed market, economic and competitive evaluations that affect product performance.
  • Performs fact based data analysis and interpretation to identify critical business insights.
  • Leads completion of needed advanced data models and analytics.
  • Identifies and prioritizes new features, including market analysis, business case development and driving prioritization.
  • Leads and executes complex new product development initiatives across large, cross-functional work teams.
  • Actively coaches others in less senior positions.

Job Duties:
  • Utilizes product management discipline, combined with quality-driven management (QDM) practices, to drive the development and execution of our portfolio strategy.
  • Requires expertise in the 4Ps of product marketing, customer relationship management, product commercialization and project management skills.
  • Experience in independently analyzing and transforming data into business insights, identifying recommended path forward and driving execution preferred.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus:

  • Extensive cross functional/regional collaboration experience preferably on a product marketing/development context.
  • Ability to understand, analyze and apply functional context to multiple information needs making it easy for the target audience to understand.
  • Strong business acumen, organizational and human relations skills.
  • Excellent communication and story-telling skills - verbally, in written form, and adept at keeping the team’s informed and up to date.
  • Demonstrated experience with international business or product marketing. Demonstrated experience with interpreting market research and developing action plans.
  • Ability to coordinate numerous tactics simultaneously in a fast-paced team environment that deliver results.
  • Knowledgeable of and experience utilizing QDM techniques in all work efforts. Ability to organize, adapt, remain flexible and self-motivate.
  • Strong customer focused orientation attuned to stated and latent needs. Presentation preparation and delivery skills at any level in the organization.

Work Domicile/Location:
  • Position will be hybrid in Collierville, TN, Plano, TX, Uniontown, OH or Pittsburgh, PA, and candidates must live within a reasonable commutable distance. This position is hybrid, meaning that employees must be onsite as directed by leadership but allows team members flexibility to work from home otherwise. 

Relocation:
  • Relocation assistance may be available based upon business needs.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in product marketing, economics, business, or related field.
  • Five (5) years work experience in functions focused on product management, market analysis or research, or equivalent.
  • Superior knowledge of competitive, market and economic factors affecting product performance and ability to perform fact based data analysis.
  • Expert communication and presentation skills, quantitative, problem structuring & solving skills.
  • Superior executive presence, human relations, networking and influencing skills.
  • Strong project management and project management leadership experience.
  • Directly related advanced degrees may offset experience requirements.
  • Directly related experience may offset degree requirements.

Salary Range Estimate: Monthly Salary: $7,764.00 - $9,954.00. This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, your work location, how many years of experience you have, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
