This is a Hybrid position within BrightDrop. The role will allow employees to work remotely, but will also require onsite work based on business needs. The selected candidate will be expected to live within a commutable distance of the innovation center they are selected for. Relocation assistance is provided for candidates who meet the relocation requirements.

If so, we’re looking for YOU! Senior Product Engineer to own and lead design and development efforts of multidiscipline modules and sub-systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage release of multidiscipline modules and subsystems from proof of concept to start of production
  • Align internal technical leads and external partners on execution, troubleshooting, and other collaborations
  • Own version control and change management of the module and subsystem level, and support the product level BOM
  • Ensure that design data is available, accurate, up to date, and meets the expected standards for release
  • Own and support the generation and maintenance of documents such as SOW and ECN
  • Support program managers with timing plans and supplier relationships, and ensure component readiness for program milestones
  • Support validation and other teams to ensure V&V plans are understood and well documented in SOW.
