Residential Interior Designer Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate client needs and source appropriate products and materials.
  • Management of client portal with identified and priced materials.
  • Address client queries and approvals within the client portal.
  • Instruct and assist clients in using the portal.
  • Ensure product selections meet MainStreet Design Build project quality standards and client budget requirements.
  • Schedule and conduct material selection meetings, both in-office and offsite.
  • Guide clients through selections, evaluating brands, styles, sizes, and features.
  • Coordinate with vendors to assist clients in making informed decisions.
  • Manage the selection process for timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Adhere to and uphold the company's client experience standards.
  • Participate in sales-to-design and sales-to-estimating handoff meetings.
  • Lead meetings with assigned Architectural Designers for product drawing needs.
  • Organize, order, invoice, and collect payments for interior design transactions outside of construction agreements.

Residential Interior Designer Skills and Experience:

· Minimum one year of sales experience.

· Four-year degree in design or construction.

· Flexible working hours.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Professional attitude and appearance.

· Clean driving record with reliable transportation.

· Experience with residential remodeling a plus.

· Highly motivated, determined, and target-driven.

· Ability to create and deliver successful client presentations.
